TV personality Ricki Lake says Tyler Henry predicted her house would burn down

Lake, who hosted her own daytime talk show, lost her home in the devastating fires that have ravaged Southern California. She recounted a meeting with Henry, filmed for his Netflix series "Live From the Other Side," where he appeared to predict the tragedy.

"The amazing @tylerhenrymedium predicted it!" Lake exclaimed on Instagram on January 11th. She included a clip from their meeting, which took place on October 15th, 2024. "He actually SAW the fire," she marveled.

Lake encouraged her followers to watch the episode on Netflix, adding "#livefromtheothersidewithtylerhenry" and "Omg."

In the video clip, Henry can be heard warning Lake and her family about a potential "house fire." He also mentions the possibility of losing possessions to both fire and water damage.

"Sending prayers to everyone affected by this ongoing nightmare," Lake wrote in her caption. She also expressed concern for Henry and her friend Rachael Harris, whose homes she believes may also be in danger.

Earlier this week, as the deadly wildfires continued to burn across Los Angeles, Lake confirmed the loss of her home. According to NBC News, at least 16 people have died as a result of the fires.

"Thankful to have escaped with my life and without injuries," Lake shared on Instagram on January 9th after evacuating. She praised @kirbykotler_ for his heroic efforts in trying to save her home. "He's our absolute hero. He risked his life trying to save our beloved home. If we had stayed, we wouldn't have made it."

"Sharing this for everyone who's been asking. Thank you for all the love and support," Lake added. "Please keep those affected by this disaster in your thoughts and prayers, and please donate if you can. Bless the brave firefighters and first responders. May they all remain safe."
