In the newly released footage, Elisabeth Moss' character, June Osborne, delivers a powerful voiceover: "They believed that these garments that they put on our bodies told the world who we are. To mark us, they put us in red, the color of blood. They forgot that it’s also the color of rage. The dress became our uniform. And we became an army."

The teaser offers a chilling glimpse of the handmaids preparing for rebellion, standing in formation and, in one striking moment, passing switchblades to each other in perfect synchronization—inside a church, no less. Meanwhile, Serena Joy Waterford (Yvonne Strahovski) ominously states, “Something big is about to happen,” while holding her baby. The teaser also showcases a wedding, a body being burned, handmaids running under the cover of night, and a furious Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd), all underscored by the message: "The revolution is here."

June closes the trailer with a final declaration: “Though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil.”

According to Hulu’s official synopsis, the final season will follow June as she continues her fight to dismantle Gilead. Luke and Moira join the resistance, Serena attempts to reshape Gilead’s future, and figures like Commander Lawrence and Aunt Lydia struggle with the consequences of their actions. Meanwhile, Nick faces critical moral dilemmas.

Alongside Moss, Strahovski, and Dowd, season 6 features returning cast members Bradley Whitford, Max Minghella, O.T. Fagbenle, Samira Wiley, Madeline Brewer, Amanda Brugel, Sam Jaeger, Ever Carradine, and Josh Charles. The season is executive-produced by Bruce Miller, Warren Littlefield, Elisabeth Moss, and others under MGM Television.

The final season of The Handmaid’s Tale premieres on Hulu on April 8 with three episodes, followed by weekly releases. The series finale is set for May 27.
