Basile, who previously expressed disinterest in returning to "Survivor", recently told Entertainment Weekly that his "opinion has definitely changed." He believes his strategic mind and sharp wit would make him a valuable asset to the show's milestone season.

The 24-year-old master's student first gained notoriety in 2023 as a contestant on "Survivor 45," where he reached the final six before being blindsided by his own alliance. In 2024, he became the first "Survivor" alum to compete on "Jeopardy," achieving a seven-game winning streak and qualifying for the Tournament of Champions. Though eliminated in the semifinals, Basile amassed nearly $140,000 in winnings.

Basile's recent "Jeopardy" experience has boosted his confidence, and he's now eager to apply his strategic skills and "weaponized" words to win the $1 million prize on "Survivor."

While open to other reality TV opportunities, Basile prioritizes "top-tier" shows like "Survivor" and "Jeopardy." He's even considering another "Jeopardy" run, with plans to implement a more rigorous training regimen to improve his chances.

Basile's potential return to "Survivor" adds an intriguing layer to the upcoming 50th season, which is rumored to feature a mix of new and returning players.
