The Marvel Rivals community is eagerly anticipating the new content of Season 1, "Eternal Darkness Falls," slated to begin on January 10th. In addition to the arrival of the Fantastic Four, Season 1 promises to introduce new maps, a new game mode, and a brand-new Battle Pass.
However, initially, only Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman will debut with Season 1, while Human Torch and The Thing will arrive a few weeks later in a major mid-season update.
Recently, Marvel Rivals released two gameplay trailers highlighting the skill sets of Mister Fantastic as a Duelist and Invisible Woman as a Strategist. For the character with invisibility powers, her primary attacks appear to inflict damage on enemies and heal allies. A unique ability allows her to repel enemies that get too close.
Furthermore, true to her name, Susan Storm can become invisible for a short period. She can deploy a shield to protect allies, and her ultimate ability creates an area of invisibility, obstructing the vision of long-range attackers.
Meanwhile, Reed Richards utilizes his stretching abilities to punch enemies, and he can even grab two nearby enemies and slam them together, causing a brief stun. He can also inflate his body, generating significant muscle mass and achieving a colossal size similar to the Hulk.
His ultimate ability appears to allow Mister Fantastic to leap high into the air and slam down onto a specific area multiple times. Notably, when Reed inflates his body, his health increases substantially, making him resemble a hybrid of a Vanguard and a Duelist.
Alongside the excitement surrounding the Fantastic Four's arrival, some players are anticipating the inclusion of Blade. Several leaks have uncovered information related to the character within the game files, including details about his skill set and character model. Upon learning that Dracula would be the main antagonist of Season 1, many gamers speculated that the vampire hunter would make a grand entrance. However, for now, this remains speculation.
