During an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Madison was presented with the menorah, which humorously features eight candles emerging from her bikini-clad body.

Meyers introduced the menorah to an excited Madison, explaining, “This did not play. They did it at the show — it bombed at dress.” Madison, visibly surprised, responded, “Why would it bomb?” Meyers himself seemed just as puzzled, exclaiming, “Why would it bomb? It’s beautiful! Everybody loves the Anora menorah.”

The menorah was originally part of a Hanukkah-themed sketch written by SNL writer Jake Nordwind, with Martin Short as the episode’s host last December. Cast member Sarah Sherman previously revealed the prop while appearing on Meyers' show last month, explaining that the joke was intended as a bold, eye-catching opening. However, despite making it to dress rehearsals, the sketch failed to land with the audience. “I would say one pervert in the audience laughed,” Sherman joked, admitting the bit didn’t contribute much to the overall sketch.

Madison, who stars in Anora, seemed to take the joke in stride. “I appreciate SNL giving me these boobs. That is amazing,” she quipped.

Directed by Sean Baker, Anora follows a young sex worker who finds herself in a dangerous situation after marrying the son of a wealthy Russian oligarch in Las Vegas. The critically acclaimed film has earned six Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actress for Madison’s performance.
