Liverpool fans go wild as Arnold sets new record

Alexander-Arnold doubled Liverpool's lead to 2-0 in the 45th minute with a magnificent long-range strike from the edge of the box, the ball flying into the top corner to send Anfield into raptures. The goal not only underlined his exceptional talent but also sparked calls from fans urging Liverpool to quickly extend his contract before Real Madrid have a chance to sign him.

On social media, fans were quick to express their feelings. One supporter wrote: "Give Trent whatever he wants." A second added: "Sign him up now." Many others also called on Liverpool to quickly sign Alexander-Arnold to a new contract, asserting that he is irreplaceable in the current Reds squad.

Besides Alexander-Arnold, the match also witnessed the historic debut of Rio Ngumoha, the youngest player ever to play for Liverpool in the FA Cup. At the age of 16 years and 135 days, Ngumoha broke the record of Trey Nyoni, who played for Liverpool last season at the age of 16 years and 8 months.

Joining Liverpool from Chelsea in the summer, Ngumoha quickly impressed in the U18 squad and the UEFA Youth League. Despite only recently joining the academy, he has been trusted by coach Arne Slot, who gave him the opportunity to play in the first team. Ngumoha scored in the U17 Premier League final while playing for Chelsea and was highly regarded by legend John Terry. He also expressed great ambition when sharing his desire to win the Ballon d'Or and become one of the best players in the world.

With a busy schedule across four fronts, Liverpool may continue to give Ngumoha opportunities, especially as the team is facing changes in the squad. Meanwhile, Alexander-Arnold remains a core player, helping Liverpool maintain their impressive form and progress deep in major tournaments.
