Barcelona received temporary approval from the CSD to register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor in their La Liga squad. However, this decision has been met with strong opposition from La Liga and several other clubs, creating a wave of controversy in Spanish football.

La Liga has confirmed it will appeal the CSD's decision to the Administrative Court. In an official statement, La Liga said it would "carefully analyze the resolution to identify appropriate appeals". They also stressed that the decision to allow Barcelona to temporarily use Dani Olmo and Pau Victor does not guarantee the integrity and fairness of the competition.

The situation is further complicated by the fact that several other clubs, including Atletico Madrid, Las Palmas, Real Valladolid, and Espanyol, have expressed their dissatisfaction. Some clubs have even issued official statements, arguing that this move negatively impacts the fairness of the league. A representative from Las Palmas stated: "The CSD's decision sets a dangerous precedent. This could undermine confidence in La Liga."

Currently, Barcelona can still use Dani Olmo and Pau Victor in their matches, including this weekend's Spanish Super Cup, as the court's final decision is still pending. However, if La Liga wins the appeal, the two players could be removed from the registration list from April.

Although Barcelona argues that the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor is legal, La Liga and the RFEF previously rejected this request. According to them, Barcelona does not meet the financial requirements to register these two players without violating the league's financial regulations. This forced Barca to turn to the CSD for a temporary measure, a controversial move from the start.

Several legal experts have also analyzed the case. They believe that La Liga's appeal to the Administrative Court is an inevitable step to protect the reputation of the league. However, this process could take up to three months, leading to uncertainty about the eligibility of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor for much of the remainder of the season.

Spanish football fans are also not left out of the debate. On social media, many conflicting opinions have been expressed. One account commented: "Barca is using every way to circumvent financial regulations. If this is accepted, small clubs will suffer." However, there are also those who support Barca: "The CSD did the right thing. Barcelona needs to be treated fairly instead of being pressured by La Liga and the RFEF."

Meanwhile, Barcelona continues to compete with Dani Olmo and Pau Victor in the squad. Despite facing pressure from the public and regulatory bodies, the Catalan club hopes to maintain their advantage in the race for the title this season. However, the future of these two players remains a big question mark, depending on the final decision of the court.
