The loss marked KT Rolster's first defeat to Nongshim RedForce after an 11-match winning streak against the same opponent.

In a post-match interview with media, the 32-year-old coach admitted he did not anticipate such a decisive loss. "I didn't expect KT to lose 0-3," Score stated. "I feel very sorry that the match was so one-sided."

When questioned about the reasons behind the defeat, Score pointed to a disconnect between practice and official matches. "In scrims, KT had shown significant improvement. But when it came to the official tournament, the team couldn't demonstrate that progress. Although the League of Legends 25.S1.3 patch went live today, I don't think it had a significant impact on our performance."

In contrast to the main team's struggles, KT Rolster's secondary team in the LCK Challengers League (LCK CL) is currently enjoying an impressive run. They remain undefeated, leading the standings with a 10-game winning streak and are considered strong contenders for the championship.

Regarding the possibility of promoting players from the successful LCK CL team to the main roster, Score was cautious. "This is not something I can decide immediately," he said. "I know the fans had high expectations for us this season, and it's regrettable that the team couldn't perform to its potential and was eliminated from the LCK Cup.

However, in the upcoming regular season, we will show a better performance." The coach's comments highlight the pressure on KT Rolster to rebound from this unexpected setback and live up to expectations in the upcoming LCK regular season. The contrast between the main team's performance and that of their academy team raises questions about roster strategy and the team's ability to translate practice success into competitive results.
