Kelce a no-show at Chiefs' post-super Bowl Party
Following the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, tight end Travis Kelce opted out of the team's after-party.
Kelce, whose girlfriend Taylor Swift was present at the game, did not attend the Chiefs' post-game celebration. Instead, the 35-year-old made a brief virtual appearance via FaceTime with the Chainsmokers, who playfully teased him about his absence.
Despite Kelce's decision to skip the festivities, the Chiefs' after-party was well-attended by other members of the organization, including Gracie Hunt, daughter of Chiefs CEO and chairman Clark Hunt.
Kelce's absence marked a change from the previous year's Super Bowl celebration, where he was seen enjoying the post-game festivities with Swift, the Chainsmokers, and his teammates.
During last year's celebration, Kelce and Swift were observed singing along to Swift's song "Love Story" and sharing a kiss. This year, however, the couple spent their post-game time together in Swift's VIP suite.
In the lead-up to the Super Bowl, Kelce had playfully credited Swift's support for the Chiefs' success in reaching the championship game for the third consecutive year.
