Game Changer faces controversy over its reported global earnings of 186 crore rupees

Shankar's Game Changer, starring Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, Anjali, and SJ Suryah, has surpassed the lifetime box office collection of his previous film Indian 2, which featured Kamal Haasan.

As of now, Game Changer has earned Rs 89.60 crore net in India, with a recent collection of Rs 17 crore. The film continues to perform well at the box office, outpacing Indian 2, which made Rs 81.32 crore net in India.

On its opening day, Game Changer recorded a strong Rs 51 crore net collection, but the following day saw a sharp 57.65% decline, with the film earning Rs 21.6 crore net. The occupancy rates also dropped, with the Telugu version of the film registering just 18.01% occupancy during morning shows and 33.22% during afternoon screenings.

Despite the steady box office performance, the film's makers have faced accusations of inflating its box office earnings. Initially, the film's team claimed Game Changer had earned Rs 186 crore worldwide on Day 1, a figure that sparked controversy.

Directed by S. Shankar and produced by Dil Raju, Game Changer also features notable actors Nassar, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, and Murali Sharma in important roles. The film’s continuing success indicates its significant impact on the audience despite the challenges in box office figures.
