The remark sent Cohen and his guests, Erika Jayne from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Racquel Chevremont from Real Housewives of New York City, into fits of laughter. Jayne jokingly responded, "Wait, I kind of want to see it? Is it fun?" Chevremont added, "Can we pull it up?"
After regaining his composure, Cohen admitted, "You know what, I think there is one," but quickly pointed out that the tape is on an old, "janky" format. Hill quipped, "It's bad," to which Cohen responded, laughing, "I'm glad, we probably can't even transfer it."
But Jayne wasn’t ready to give up on the idea, shouting, "Yes we can!" before Hill moved on to his next suggestion for Cohen.
Hill, who has a background in musical theater, having performed in Broadway productions like Hairspray and Off-Broadway's Bare: A Pop Opera, is now a producer for Watch What Happens Live and hosts The John Hill Show on Cohen's SiriusXM channel. The pair, who dated for three years in the early 2000s, have often reminisced about their past relationship on Cohen’s show.
In a past WWHL episode, Cohen revealed his go-to karaoke song is John Denver’s "Take Me Home, Country Roads," and Hill jokingly reminded him, “You stole it from me, but it’s yours now.” Cohen admitted, “I did steal that from you, oh my God. That's what happens when you let your ex-boyfriend be behind the bar. He calls you out on everything.”
Their sex tape has been discussed before, too. In 2020, during Hill's The Feels Live show, Cohen confirmed, "There is a sex tape of us floating around somewhere."
When an audience member asked why they broke up, Hill simply said, "It was just time," with Cohen adding, "We were in different places in our lives."
Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday on Bravo and streams later on Peacock.
