Allison Holker breaks silence on backlash over late husband Stephen 'tWitch' Boss

Allison Holker is facing backlash for revealing private details about her late husband, Stephen "tWitch" Boss, in her upcoming memoir.

She addressed these concerns in an Instagram story, clarifying her intention to help others by sharing her life with Boss.

Boss, known for his roles on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and "So You Think You Can Dance," tragically took his own life in December 2022. In a recent interview, Holker disclosed that she found hidden drugs among Boss's belongings while preparing for his funeral. This discovery shocked and alarmed her, highlighting the hidden struggles he faced.

Boss's mother, Connie Boss Alexander, expressed her disapproval on Instagram, criticizing the "misleading and hurtful claims" made about her son. She vowed to defend his name and legacy. Holker reiterated in her Instagram story that her book aims to celebrate their love and life together, including the complexities they faced.

She hopes their story can help others recognize warning signs and prevent similar tragedies. All proceeds from the book will support "Move with Kindness," a mental health foundation established in Boss's memory.

Boss and Holker met as all-star dancers on "So You Think You Can Dance" in 2010 and had been together ever since.

Holker's memoir, "This Far," will be released on February 4th.
